The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge (HZMB) is a 55-kilometre bridge–tunnel system consisting of a series of three cable-stayed bridges, an undersea tunnel, and four artificial islands. It is both the longest sea crossing and the longest open-sea fixed link in the world. The HZMB spans the Lingding and Jiuzhou channels, connecting Hong Kong, Macau, and Zhuhai—three major cities on the Pearl River Delta in China.

Djibouti International Free Trade Zone (DIFTZ) is a model of China-African cooperation in this new era, also is an important carrier to undertake China's Belt and Road Economic initiative. With the support of the Djibouti government, China Merchants Group, Dalian Port Group have joined forces and consolidated superior resources for the building of DIFTZ. Area of 48.2 square kilometers is planned to be developed, where 2.4 square kilometers area has been already constructed firstly as pilot zone.
