Leading in Smart Parking & Access Control
As night falls on Chongqing, the brightly illuminated Grand Theatre stands as a landmark of culture and art. Beneath this cultural icon, however, a transformation is quietly underway. In partnership with Chongqing Cultural Tourism Group, JIESHUN has developed a “smart cultural tourism parking facility,” built on the principles of intelligence, sustainability, and user-centric service—setting a new standard where art meets technology.
From “Hard to Park” to a Seamless Parking Experience
For theatre-goers, parking is no longer a hassle. “In the past, I had to arrive half an hour early just to find a spot. Now, the navigation locks onto available spaces directly, and exiting takes only seconds,” said Ms. Wang, a musical enthusiast.

This leap in convenience stems from JIESHUN’s smart ecosystem: AI-driven license plate recognition with 99.9% accuracy, real-time remote support resolving more than 100 incidents in six months, and a 98.5% customer satisfaction rate. Dynamic tidal lane adjustments have boosted traffic capacity by 50% during peak events, while predictive scheduling—analyzing historical data to pre-adjust traffic flows—works hand-in-hand with traffic police to ease congestion.
Electric vehicle (EV) owners also enjoy unprecedented freedom, with the deployment of 32 fast-charging stations supporting automatic license plate recognition to prevent misuse. Fees for charging and parking are integrated into one system, enabling drivers to recharge while enjoying performances. Data shows this model has extended EV parking durations by 30% and increased charger utilization to 1.4 times the industry average.
On the cultural side, upgrades to flooring, signage, and intelligent lighting have elevated the parking environment to the level of a commercial complex. Plans for cultural pop-up stores and theatre merchandise further extend the artistic experience from stage to car park.

From a Service Facility to an Operational Growth Engine
JIESHUN is redefining the parking lot as more than a support service—it is now a digital operating platform and profit engine.
Through the “Jie Service” mini program, financial reconciliation efficiency has improved by 70%, with real-time access to operating data, electronic invoicing, and transparent maintenance tracking. Cross-site scheduling with nearby facilities has improved regional resource utilization by 35% during large-scale events such as the Spring Festival Gala sub-venue and May Day drone shows.
Financially, the parking lot has seen a 37% revenue increase from February to June 2025, driven by strategies including unattended operation, anti-evasion measures, peak-shifting, and EV-linked services—while reducing labor costs by 40%.

On the sustainability front, 640 IoT-enabled smart lamps with AI-sensing systems have cut energy consumption by 62%, saving 89,000 kWh annually and reducing carbon emissions by 70 tons. Combined with EV charging revenue, the theatre has become JIESHUN’s first parking facility achieving “positive carbon benefits.”
Toward an Integrated Cultural Tourism Ecosystem
The project also explores broader opportunities: cultural and creative retail to build the nation’s first “cultural parking IP,” convenience facilities such as smart lockers and self-service cafés to create a “third space,” and an expanded charging network with high-capacity ultra-fast chargers to meet 95% of EV demand.
By piloting shared parking with nearby facilities and using AI algorithms to dynamically allocate traffic across venues, the system supports major events, holiday peaks, and drone performances—turning the district into an interconnected urban mobility hub.
Technology Reshaping Urban Services
From seamless, unattended passage to immersive cultural experiences, from cross-site mobility to green and low-carbon operations, JIESHUN is reshaping parking from a supporting service into a city-wide ecosystem.

At Chongqing Grand Theatre, the “Smart Cultural Tourism Parking” project is not only enhancing audience experience but also redefining how urban cultural venues operate—showcasing a future where technology and humanity converge in harmony.
